But recently, they’ve started referring to me as an ‘office mom’, indicating the deepening of the trust level and emotional bond, along with my growing approachability. So, I started connecting the dots: could this transformation in my leadership style be the secret sauce to my team’s enhanced performance and passion?

You see, when I began leading, I was all about efficiency, precision, and results. But from my experience, leadership is an art about the ‘who’ behind the work, as much as the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of it. Thus, building relationships is as important as completing tasks. As I embraced this more empathetic approach, something remarkable happened – there was more openness, more collaboration, and a noticeable uplift in morale.
